I personally think an 1847 Walker with a 60 grain charge is "where its at".  But thats just me.

I've carried concealed for over 30 years. Follow the rules of basic safety and you will be okay.

1. A gun is always loaded. Even when it's empty pretend it's loaded.

2. Rule two goes with one. Always imagine a laser is coming out of the barrel. Don't point it at anyone loaded or unloaded. Don't point the barrel at any part of you including your feet.

3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot. Hear noise in your house? Patrol the area with your finger off the trigger. Holding a bad guy until the cops come? Keep your finger off the trigger.

4. Walk away from confrontation.  Stand your ground is insanity.  If you can retreat without killing a guy do it. Not walking away when you can because you have a Magnum on you is being a coward.  Stand your ground when you are unarmed.  If you don't realize the gravity of taking a life you shouldn't be armed.
