OK, SHIZZO, the next one may be of more interest then. It's not as difficult as that light speed one.
THE YET TO BE BUILT RIDER'S LAS VEGAS STADIUM ....
The first big on-site ground breaking ceremony was promoted by Mark Davis on Nov. 13 of this year. Howie Long and Jim Plunkett along with numerous politicians and important LV business owners were in attendance.
A massive hole will soon be dug (year's end??) in which the stadium's foundation wil sit.
The stadium will be competed in time for the Raiders to begin playing the 2020 NFL season.
The cost to build this Las Vegas stadium will be 1.8 billion US dollars. The second most expensive stadium in US history behind Los Angeles. (What is that one costing?)
It will have 65,000 seats .... but only 2,400 on site parking spaces which wil be reserved for players coaches, team staff, and luxury suite holders. (This seems to be a major disadvantage.)
It will have 100 luxury suites.
The umber of parking spaces required by Clark County Code for a 65,00 seat stadium is 16,000 so if you are a football fan be prepared to park off site......or put on your hiking boots.
The average cost of a Personal Seat License (PSL) is $3,846 US so a family of four would need to spend $15,384 for the right to buy season tickets. (This PLS thing is something new to me.)
So far the Raiders have received 50,000 PSL deposits for a total of $192,300,000 but need to reach $250,000,000 to meet their stadium budget.
Here's one that I have no idea how they can comply with .....
35% of the total construction work hours must be dedicated to women and minority workers.
55% of the total stadium operating hours must be dedicated to women and minority workers.
The above is called the Raiders' proposed Community Benefits Program.
Do any GetBiggers have season tickets to professional sporting events?
