As we are approaching Thanksgiving, families will be together, food will be eaten and many will be reflecting on what they are thankful for. But it’s not just the act of eating Thanksgiving dinner. The hours of preparation and the delicious smells that fill the house that entire week are just as important, as are the leftovers that last for days. In my family, the cooking of Christmas cookies has always begun the day after Thanksgiving – if not before. The preparation, eating, and preserving of food becomes both a family tradition and a ritual of community and togetherness
And then there is the history. At Thanksgiving I feel connected to the generations of Americans who came before me, and especially to our nation’s colonial roots. Thanksgiving for me has always involved reading books about the first Thanksgiving, talking about the struggles our ancestors went through to come to this country, and even sewing costumes and dressing as pilgrims. Thanksgiving dinner itself always begins with a remembrance of the first Thanksgiving feast. This I believe is very important as well...but there will be others that do not have familiy OR are torn apart and will take to logging onto GetBig.com to engage with other Bodybuilding worshippers.
This is why I WILL MAKE IT MY JOB TO BE HERE ON THANKSGIVING TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE LONELY GETBIGGERS.
Thats right! I'm making a sacrifice to break away from all the festivities at my house and help all the members of GetBig get through a lonely, difficult Thanksgiving.
Perhaps you turned down invitations to gatherings because of your anxiety, or maybe your relatives live out of town. Whatever the reason for being alone, there are ways that you can feel less lonely.
In general, there are three ways to cope.
1. Log onto GetBig where Fallsview will be your comfort during these hard times.
2. I will provide you support and help you make plans so YOU ARE NOT ALONE NEXT YEAR!!!
3. I will put you contact with other GetBiggers that are alone so you all can get together in a forum or in person. Wes, Vince Goodrum, Dan18, Kwon are just a few of the members on here that have spent countless holidays alone or in a gutter of some alley. Whether it's from drugs, mental illness or you're just a person that no one likes...I, FALLSVIEW WILL BE YOUR GUIDE.
