Alex Hormozi on wealth

Great message. He says that now he only values private jets because they make travel go from a bad experience to a positive experience. He describes how people would treat him differently when he drove a Bentley, but not always in a good way. Worth a watch:

I can definitely understand why he thinks travel is better on a private jet - especially with the insane Covid mask requirements and other requirements which you just know none of the billionaire class are following.

As for driving a new car - car debt is one of the worst things to be bogged down with. All I can say is - part of why my life is so comfortable is because I own my house and car, and drive a 2003 model SUV, which has a perfectly maintained interior and exterior.

Someone told me that having an old car will degrade my neighbourhood's property value, and I should buy a new car for that reason, but I think that's stupid. I prefer keeping my money invested, and living modestly. More like a pauper - but the bottom line is: I don't have the same stress as people working 9 to 5's.

Do I have some obligation to own a new car for the sake of my neighborhood? Keep in mind where my house is situated, I basically don't have neighbours, but even if I did...do I have some social obligation to buy a new car?  ???

Getbigger problems. Too much wealth and too many super models to choose from.
