To che and all the other boxing experts

When you compare Tyson Fury to other heavyweights in the past, such as Tyson, Ali, Holyfield, Holmes... is he really that skilled of a boxer? I'm far from an expert but I could appreciate the technical excellence of Ali and early Mike Tyson. Tyson Fury is big and dominated Wilder but he didn't look polished and skilled. Just more of a big brawler. Again, I'm not an expert and this is actually the first time I've watched a Fury fight.

He moves awkwardly so he doesn't look that great from an aesthetic point of view, but his height and reach give him an obvious advantage and it's very rare for a man of his size to have his level of skill and speed.

Add to that he seems to have decent cardio despite being doughy and he has also shown he has a great chin.

He is definitely not just a brawler and if he gets to face Josha soon and wins, he will go down as one of the greats.

For such a huge guy, he is very mobile and with quick reflexes.

Rarely see such footwork on such a huge Henda.

He also used his weight well to make Wilder tired in the match.

He has good Fight-IQ.

He's pretty skilled. Good jab, sharp reflexes, uses his size well and is deceptively quick. He also seems comfortable fighting aggressively or defensively, and fighting either orthodox or southpaw making him more awkward/unpredictable.
I wouldn't put him on level with the likes of Ali and Tyson but they were phenoms.

Fury just looks like someone who doesn't know what he's doing, when he is, in fact, destroying his opponents . People look at his physique too much.
His  entire  repertoire is mostly comprised of faints, multi directional jabs, guard manipulations, and head movement, all built around a keen sense of timing. Fury is a pure boxer, with slick movement and subtle traps.

when joshua sends him through the ropes like whyte, watch how the wagon clears.  he failed a ped and cocaine test vs vlad and used mental health to get out the rematch.  take in account it's manny steward's team, vlad's guys, who trained him for wilder. wilder is a prolific puncher but limited. guys like lewis, younger klits bros, ali, etc would put punches together vs fury.  anyway, joshua is going to put an end to this nonsense. it's funny how hearn is running with 24 hrs of the wilder fight to make aj vs fury ASAP.   Again, Joshua isn't going to be throwing just 7 punches around like Wilder/older Vlad.  fury could have taken aj's 3 belts first b/c that was the initial offer but he went after a fighter similar to vlad.

He`s extremely sjkilled for a man f his size.

The ability to move like that is rare v=being so big unless of course the guy is herky jerky os sloppy.

Can feint good, good head movement and great footwork and now seems to have more power in his shots..........can take a helluva shot alao.

He`s no Ali or Sugar Ray Leonard but he`s damn good.

Good fight IQ, uses his body and range very well, style and balance wise, he's far from perfect, styles make fights Wilder was perfect for him, I agree with others AJ will give him more problems as he has more tools to counter him with. I also think Ruiz with his chin and counters could give him a few problems, though his height and range might effectively neutralise him, plus his iron chin, but he's typical gypsy been fighting since he could crawl, looks awkward due to his dinosaur size, but he's very effective and moves and feints extremely well for a guy of that size. I would not bet against him. Im no expert just a long term fight fan.

Technically you can't compare, he's pretty elusive and he knows how to use his size and reach (awkward as fuck), it doesn't look pretty but it gets the job done.
