It truly is a scam for poor people, right?
If you have the money on any given day of the year to buy an item you'd like, you simply buy it. You don't wait around for a "special" day when they supposedly slash prices to finally get your hands on it. Like MAXX said before me, sounds like a scam, but I'd also say it's geared towards the poor. They get these people desperate to spend their money on as many discounted items as they can and before they know it, they've plunged themselves into serious credit card debt and drained their checking accounts of their funds to pay rent and the rest of their home expenses, but hey at least they made out with great deals. I wouldn't be surprised if credit card companies help to sponsor this glorious day at local shopping centers, as it brings them great profits via newly acquired debt, card fees and interest payments.
