No shit. There is a "family" mentality in Hollywood. Not unlike normal people.
Actors/Actresses aren't gods, or above reproach.
They are real life people, with real life problems.
They also happen to have awesome paying jobs, and are the envy of many.
Just look at them as the CEOs of themselves. There are shady CEOs of many companies, who Fuck over thousands of people, without batting an eyelash.
Movie stars, are independent contractors. In most cases, they give back so much more, than the "higher ups" that they are contracted to.
