I think that the middle class will be closer to extinction thanks to AI. AI will be benefit mostly the billionaires by streamlining their corporate operations which puts more money in their pockets and less in the uneducated/unskilled/semi skilled/generic workforce. AI this very day (today) compared to what will be here in 2035 will resemble AOL Dial Up internet connection compared to that new Japanese connection that just set a world record of 1.02 petabits per second. Which is like 1,000,000x faster than anything available to home or mobile customers right now. The evolution of AI is going to be massive. If you are going to get into it, either as a worker or investor, now is the time.
There will be a global push to reduce the number of automobiles on the roads. Some countries have already started implementing restrictions on when/how people can drive. Self driving cars will be more of a thing. While this is great (on paper) in big congested cities, as a whole, the US is much to big for that to work for long distance (state to state or cross country) trips. Hence I believe we will start seeing our first developments of our own "bullet trains" (which is long overdue).
Home robotics will become more common place. Examples (imo) : smaller, more compact dishwashers where you load them on a belt/tray type and they are cleaned in a couple of minutes. Similar to high end restaurants. Perhaps more "Segway" type mobile assist/aids for the elderly.
I think we will be seeing more extreme and deadly weather patterns. Heat waves, floods, dry spells, etc. I think we will just be getting into talks about having to build infrastructure to protect everyday people from these hazards. I says talks because in 10 years people will still be fighting the climate change fight on both sides and not a single one will back down. It isn't until this last bunch of the old guard dies off that we can move forward with more open minded thinkers.
As stated, by another poster, cash will be more meaningless. Digital currency will most likely be 85% norm.
There will be a reduction in global exports/imports for all countries as digital printing continues to evolve and get more advanced to being able to support local supply chains.
The "sport" of BBing will be on it's last legs, fading away.
