Looking through the last few pages of this thread, and remembering just how good Benaziza was. Guy was fricking awesome. I remember one year he was winning everything and even beat Yates at the NOC- a really great show that year too Danny Padilla looked un-fucking-real at that show. Then the next year Momo bombed. His placings were way down and no articles in Flex or Muscle & Fitness about him. No discussion on why he dropped from winning shows to 8th and 9th place finishes but the few pics I saw of him that year he had realy bad gyno. Then the year after that he was winning shows again until he died.
Another short guy with a ton of muscle, Tim Belknap, how come this guy got screwed so badly at all the ifbb shows he competed in? He was a freak. A true freak, huge, shredded, vascular. Won in other bodybuilding leagues/federations, and got a lot of coverage in the magazines, and everyone agreed he was a true freak but in the IFBB he could hardly break the top 10 of any of his shows. To this day his name is associated with freaky size and conditioning but he had a relatively mediocre ifbb career.
