I watched 'Standoff' last night........it was pretty good.....will check out 'Hunting Grounds' later today.

I watched "old Henry" not too long ago simple setup similar to Standoff but western. Good soundtrack and acting.  Really enjoyed it and  I usually turn films off these days.

Just watched Aileen Wornos documentary on Netflix

Apparently the first guy she killed had done 10 years for sexual assault, the prosecution knew but pained him in the light of being a good character with no criminal record,
The reporter got the info from the lead prosecutors office after he denied knowing anything about it.

She admitted smoking the others because she wanted to.

Also a Charles Manson doc with a guy who has been investigating the background for years, he suspects Manson worked with the CIA on mind control for years and during the MK ultra (Manchurian candidate ) he claims Manso was given free rein to do what he did because the CIA and FBI wanted a reason to crack down on the Hippie Freedom / Black Panther movements

I watched it. It was okay, but there’s a major logic problem. They could have warned everyone arriving at the house that there was a gunman on the first level, told them to drive away, and go get help. Surely they would have heard the cars arrive — the house wasn’t that big. They were on the second level. He could have told the girl to open a window and alert them while he kept watch at the stairs.

Instead, they did nothing, and the cop was shot, tortured, and then killed. His ex was dragged into it as well. That’s where the plot completely falls apart.

I thought the loner was going to help her to the end and be a hero. Nice plot twist.

Neither one was gonna` win an Oscar but turn off your brain and just enjoy.
