On certain things, mainly red meat, certain vegetables, and certain dairy (especially cheese). They just taste better to me, etc.... I found chicken and pork to be close enough that I don't care as much. The thing that's been a pain lately is that you used to be able to track down rebates and sales quite easily, where it made the difference in cost negligible.
Now those are hard to come by, everything starts out closer to retail, has less of a sales break, etc.....
Kind of what BB said - well sourced meats, eggs, A2 milk, stuff like that.
But not everything.
Thanks, I'll check if I find a difference in taste. Some items seem close in price, sometimes cheaper because of sales etc.
"Organic" is just code for overpriced.

That's kind of been my hunch. I should read up on it for 5 minutes LOL. I think I've read that people are under the impression that organic means no pesticides but that all farmers use pesticides, period. There might be difference in types of pesticides sometimes but not sure. I also wonder what "free range eggs" means, what the "range" looks like LOL.
