Racist prejudice in IFBB?

Lee Priest, a white boy from down under, has been offered a 9 months suspension
Valentin Jabes, a black boy from Guadaloupe, has been delivered a 12 months suspension.
Both of them have allegedly broken the same IFBB rule.
Bob Chick surely has an explanation

I tend to agree with Timothy on these matters.

In regards to the IFBB, I don't think it matters what color you are as long as you play their game.....

If you don't you get stepped on...

You never know what's going on behind closed doors.

Ronnie might have had to do some things he'd rather not admit to in order to keep his Sandow as long as he did.

Regardless, it's bullshit if Jabes and Priest aren't getting the same kind of suspension.

And definitely something an Athlete Rep should look into.

Discrimination issues, whether they targets guys, ethnicities or whatever, are BS and should be a primary concern for an Athlete Rep IMHO.

Hell its hard to get the IFBB to enforce any rules and if you check this isn't the first time Preist has been fined , ask Shawn about Levrone NOT being fined despite being able to compete without a contract at the Olympia .

IMO this is simply a case of which pro makes more money for the federation.True, its a cult "sport" but stating that who that follows bb'ing has heard of Jabes while Priest is a household name in the bb'ing circles of people that follow it.Majority of ppl following the sport will but a magazine/product that has Priest on the cover/endorsing the product quicker than they will than if it was jabes.Not saying its not discrimination as it is but purely a money driven decisiion imo.

I don't know what has been offered to Jabes...or If Jabes ever expressed any interest in competing for both federations. For all we know, Jabes simply wants to continue on with the PDI and has washed his hands of the IFBB...the only quote (alledgedly) from jabes was that he wouldn't be renewing his IFBB card this next year and has moved on...

Until all the facts are presented, why speculate?

I think its obvious that its about name recognition and not race. Who the fuck is Jabes? Never heard of him, never recall him placing, hes a nobody. Lee Priest on the other hand holds some weight, has name recognition and is a top tier pro. Its a no brainer guys.

yup... racist! Racist!  Any time there is a least bit of discrepancy with a white boy and someone of a different ethnicity somebody has to call,  RACIST!  GODDAMN... I am so sick of that weak fall back that people keep using... how many blacks and how many whites have been in the top 10 at the o over the years?  Yup... racism all over the place!  Im sure Ronnie and Haney would agree with 16 Sandows between the two of them ::)
