What exactly does DA do for MD? Does he have a column? I've never read it if he does... When did it start?
DA has no direct relation to MD other then just being a fan of the magazine..
So why was he hanging out at the MD booth at the Arnold?
Whats funny is that there has never been any sort of "rivalry" when it comesto numbers...or from Flex magazines point of view...any "war" that was waged, was purely on MD's end trying to create interest for themselves...
Denying them the access kinda makes them look like a thread. i think flex/ami should just ignore md.
That's true, AMI shouldn't have got all pissy and denied them press access to the Olympia... with MD being a big sponsor of the Arnold now though... I guess all is forgiven.
My brother works at DistributionNet USA.I got the inside scoop on all the various magazine circulations of actual bodybuilding mag salesThese are the actual numbers for Dec of 2006: Muscle and Fitness 428,000Flex 102,000MuscleMag 51,000Muscular Development 41,000Ironman 39,000Planet Muscle 29,000 I guess the "duel" in the eyes of bodybuilding fans doesn't really translate in the market. It's a bloodbath. Weider moved 530k units (M&F and FLEX) in December. THIRTEEN times what MD did. interesting...I subscribe to MD. I guess they are way too hardcore to compete with the other mags at the magazine stand.
One has nothing to do with the other...
Really? Then why would they be denied press passes for the Olympia? Just some random act of occurrences? Hey man... I think it's messed up... but if someone bad mouthed me, I can't say I'd be doing them any favors either.
I think you mis read the posts....MD being any type of sponsor to the Arnold, has absolutely nothing to do with the Olympia, or the events that led up to they being denied press passes for it.
