Hey adonis, that analogy about powerlifting and visceral fat was well put.  Tell me, in a mode of starvation, what energy source will the body try to use up first and what will it try to save last? I was under the impression that fat was the source that the body wants to use last.

What is that? About 5 months? I remember i met adonis through my friend who bodybuilds. I think he knew i was delusional and sent me to the right place. I thought i was actually big in the begining pictures and adonis straight up laughed at me in my face and said i was a fat delusional fuck. I appreciated his honesty and from then on tried to soak up as much as possible from him. Those of you who try to discredit him really know nothing.

Thanks.  Glycogen and STORED FAT are the sources the body wants to burn first.  You burn fat all day and alot at rest, if you are in a caloric defecit.

There is no such thing as starvation mode.  Another myth that has been perpetuated by supplement companies.

Let me post Mine and Layne`s discussion of this and trying to tell people this fact.

according to the research there is no difference in weight gain or loss or body composition between individuals who eat more frequent meals vs less frequent meals if calories are controlled.

Hahahah yes... The human body with that much muscle just doesn't need 4000 calories a day. Ridiculous. It can't handle that much.

well when I said "starvation" mode, I meant it in a literal sense, I stopped reading supplement ads when I was 14 :D.  Picture you are stuck in the middle of nowhere and have nothing to eat, will the above explanation still hold true>?

The True Adonis:
Caloric intake is the most important thing.

You should not think of nutrition in meals, but in food items instead.

Once you have a caloric limit, just eat until you reach the limit throughout the day.

This meal business is out of hand and is a main ploy and tactic for Supplement companies to make you use their products by following a "meal" schedule.

The True Adonis:

You are incorrect.

Look at news reels from the 40s and 50s. Look at photographs from that period, rarely will you see anyone overweight. People during that time ate 3 meals a day or so.

You will see that people ate less meals and less calories. The number of meals has nothing to do with it.

Layne Norton:
i tend to agree

The True Adonis:
You have no idea how many times I have tried to explain this to these people.

They just never seem to get it.

They also do not understand that the Thermic effect of digestion is minimal.

You burn more calories watching television during the day, typing on a computer or having simple conversation than you do by the thermic effect of digestion.
