You know, in some ways, Tim-I honestly think that is an old wives tale.
I have had several buds who worked as dancers in some shows for women & they acted even more wild than men at a straight male strip club.
Maybe they aren't as turned on as much as a whole group as men by visual stimuli, BUT I think A LOT of them really are-look at how popular shows like the Chippendales are in Vegas...

Right you are Bay about what goes on behind the scenes. A person's got to be naive or a saint not to know that it's a fact. Anyway, there's a lot of support from gay people helping out bodybuilders monetarily, and getting something back in return.

There used to be a party in NYC after the NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS at a rich individual's pad. I saw big name pros bodybuilders, amateur bodybuilders, a male porn star, guys who hustle for a living, & a couple of girlfriends . It was very accepted that everybody respected this host, who was gay. It was no big deal, but it did open my eyes that bodybuilding & support by gay men are intertwined . A LOT of pros were there , and whether they were straight or gay or bi, it was an accepted party to attend.

Oh, I totally agree with you, Matt. I actually don't know much about Mark-great body & impressed with his pics. I just read some interview on a Christian BB'ing site where he was really going to town about his beliefs. BUT, as you stated, it probably is fairly selective & whatever crowd of the moment he is trying to appeal, too. I have strong faith myself, but don't push it on people & accept folk for who they are.

No one deserves the cover more than Silvio. He has had a tremendous year. He is one the best new pros out there. As for his Musclegallery choice, there is nothing wrong with it. He needs to make money just like everyone else. Plus, it's not as if he is doing anything gay in the videos...

foreign does not mean backwards. Silvio is Brazilian, spent part of his youth in Nigeria, and has been living in Spain. While Nigeria may qualify as backwards when it comes to sexual attitudes, Brazil and Spain certainly do not. He knew what he was doing.
