Yeah, I totally understand that. If we leveled the Country though like Mr. I suggested many many innocents would have no chance and just be turned to ash.
I don't theink he really wants the country to be turned to glass... he does however want us to use our military might to defeat the enemy with as little loss of US troops as possible, and I understand that... I too believe we should be in there, declaring martial law and showing people that if you are the bad guy, you down. I also think we should be looking at the people and saying, you don't want to fight with us? Then just get out of the way while we protect you.
If they don't like that, then we say fuck it and let them deal with it themselves, I'm tired of it.
It's too bad we couldn't have something like "The Thunderdome".
These bastards who want to create wars and send innocent men, women, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, and innocent civilians to their deaths should be required to fight their own battles, ...themselves.
I'd love to see Bush in a ring with someone.
Why we are in this war is truly anyones guess... Is is money? power? unfinished business? terrorism? The answer may be all of them, or NONE of them... The reality is that none of us truly knows why we are there. I see people stand up here and say this is why we're there, but truthfully, it's all bunk.
Look, the reality is that if the people wanted us there, they would stand up and fight beside us... ALL of them. You know, look at our major wars... The ones where we knew we were right... especially on our own turf, EVERYONE took up the fight.
Why don't they?
Because they don't care? Maybe... Or perhaps they do care but if you do things for a child, they never learn to do it for themselves.
When I was a kid, my grandmother would throw me into the deep end of the pool, and I would bust my ass trying to swim... I'd sink like a stone and my mom would swim up under me and push me to the surface... They did that over and over and over, until one time, my mom didn't need to push me up anymore... I had learned to swim, and I'm a good swimmer.
The reality is that we're not making them swim... It's time for the Iraqis to put up or shut up. If they faulter we can be there to help, no problem, but it's time to stop doing their work for them.
Where's that plan is all I want to know... when to we get to say, "OK boys, time to swim.
