How's that whole "establishing authority" thing workin' out for ya there, Junaids? I'll bet by the first break the students are saying to each other, "hey, check out the coked-out dracula-looking little brown kid in the suit!"
it means when someone with 20 yrs worth of experience in the field walks in to see a virtual kid teaching him..some of these folks have a problem with it..
and i teach a bootcamp class which means 1 month of material in 5 days..i cant be wasting time answering irrelevant questions trying to prove that i know my shit..they dont pay 2grand for a 5 day class just to come in and play stump the teacher with me..thats aint happenin..soo i have to establish intellectial authority immediately..i dont give a flyi ng fuck if you r 55 and make 90k/yr..and have been in the field for 20 yrs..there is a reason you r in class..
most people r gentlemen..once in a while..ya get assholes..
at least i think the suit helps..

i mean i sure get a different reception than when i used to walk into class wearing jeans and a shirt..i'd spend 45 mins out of each day answering irrelevant questions
oo..the only break they get is noon..and they come to lunch with me..thats their chance to ask irrelevant questions..
