Most of what women do is for other women. So it's perfectly understandable why a lot of women would find someone that thick to be fat. She doesn't meet the standards of beauty magazines and gay men have set. Women tend to have an ideal presentation in their minds about what they should look like, I just find it funny that they never bother to ask men what they like.
Most of the fashion industry is run by queens. Why else would the models be dieted down to look like 12yr old boys? Straight men in charge of fashion would end a lot of eating disorders, LOL!
First of all, you have to admit that starting a thread in the women's area of a BODYBUILDING site about physical perfection, with that particular illustration, (as so vividly described by Jags... I could just picture her
) is going to get the same kind of reaction as when Jehovah Witnessess appear at your door on a Saturday morning.
Secondly, the fashion industry is actually owned by very wealthy heterosexual men. Runway models are rail thin because they're supposed to be walking clotheshangers. You aren't supposed to be oogling them... they're just selling the garment. You're supposed to be watching the $60,000.00 dress on their backs and sign a check after the show.
In my first post, I said people should try to attain the kind of bodies that make THEM happy... whatever it is, large, thin, fat, muscular... I stand by that. Whenever you "change" for someone else, you just cultivate inner unhappiness. Don't you at least agree with that? Would you change your physical appearance because some women on a website said they prefer a certain bodytype?
I know what Squadfather likes (although he seems willing to compromise a little
) because I see what you guys post... and post...and post.
And sure, those untoned, thick, huge-assed, big-boobed women look great splayed on a bed looking back over their shoulders at the camera with pouty expressions... but in everyday life, that's no more a "real" depiction of what women are than the opposite extreme of the runway model. A woman with an enormous butt jiggling away in a saddle looks about as appealing as a two day old Szechwan dish. (Ask Toxie about the sniggers you'll hear from men when one of them cantors by.) Same goes for the untoned, wide-loaded woman squeezing into diving gear. You don't often see these women leading the way up a particularly difficult hiking trail... that's because many of them don't do anything physical. Now where's the joy in life in that? Sex takes what, 6-12 hours a week average... what do these women do the rest of the time?
My point was only that there are all different kinds of women... petite, tall, lanky, ripped, muscular, soft, fleshy, etc... seems to me all kinds of women are finding lust and love in their lives... not just the huge-assed, big-boobed odelisk types. There is no one physical ideal. There are some guys even on this thread who said they prefer other types of women. And from my own experience, I would have to say, yes, we're doing just fine.
PS... Div is right. These women who do nothing with themselves at 20, do end up looking not so great at 35. What was someone's answer? That's when you trade them in? Lol.
