How about when at some restaurants the server fills the water glasses and touches the pitcher to the top of the glasses?  :P 

THE PITCHER SHOULD NOT TOUCH THE GLASSES

i dont mind if they say do you need change...its ok...plus i carry different bills in cash on me anyhow...but dont ask me to bag my own food..

i cdonsider that part of the service..1


and 2....i'm fucking clumsy..and i'd rather not spill half the leftover on the table tryping to get em into a small box all the while grumbling back n forth with my ex..no ..no no no no no..fucking NOOOOOOO >:(

To each their own I guess  ;)

When it comes to the change part ~ "do you need change" or "can I bring you change" makes the assumption the balance is an automatic tip.  Don't make assumptions!  "I'll be right back with your change" is a better choice of words IMO.
