Question for you figure girls on judging.
« on: September 08, 2007, 09:07:23 PM »
My wife Crystal won the Ms Wisconsin Figure. But at the state level (at least ours) there seems to be a lot of confusion about what the judges are looking for. Even amoung the judges there seems to be confusion. What are figure girls to have and not have, What are the judges to be looking for? Thanks, as your input will help me prepare her for next season.

Thanks again.

I would recommend taking a look at a few of our contest reports, it varies somewhat from show to show and from class to class, but over time I find the judging criteria to be remarkably consistent and reasonably correct (with a few exceptions).

So is it fair to say they want good lines (wide shoulders, small waist), relatively lean but not to hard.

I should have asked ... what kind of show is Ms. Wisconsin Figure?  And will she competing nationally in the NPC next year?
