Time to bring back this thread, there used to be a mutual understanding that not all news were worthy of their own thread as it would flood the board.
UFC Quick Quote: Karo Parisyan inks eight fight contract extension
"I love the UFC. I love Dana White, Lorenzo Fertitta, they’re one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and that’s the truth. I don’t kiss ass. I had a meeting with them last week they gave me a new, eight fight contract and the deal is I’m happy with them, I’m happy with the UFC. But the deal is there is a lot of stuff even Dana can’t control. He can’t control a lot of the referees. A lot of the judges are from the commission so he can’t control all those guys. It’s very hard. He can control [them] a certain amount of time [and] a certain amount of people, but not everything."

UFC Quick Quote: War Machine on the war path
“So the UFC decided to let me go because of my statements after the death of Evan Tanner. They tried to make it look like I was insensitive towards Evan and that that was the reason I was being cut. In all honesty my bulletin regarding Evan was bashing the UFC and the way they treat fighters and not negative to Evan in any way. if anything I was sticking up for Evan and the way he was mistreated by the UFC just like the vast majority of it fighters. Anyway, since my bulletins and all the bullshit being talked about on the underground several of Evan Tanner’s close friends and family members have been in contact with me. 99 percent of them were not mad at all and pretty much let me know that they knew where I was going with the whole bulletin and for me not to worry about hurting any of them directly. SO yeah one of his close friends just messaged me a few hours ago and let me know that the UFC sent NO ONE to speak at his funeral. He let me know how much this saddened the family and how very disappointed they were about it all. This is an EX CHAMPION of theirs, NOT some scrub that fought for them once and thats it. Are you trying to tell me he doesn’t deserve any of the UFC brass’ presence at his funeral? Doesn’t deserve a single kind word or statement of gratitude for the services that he provided their organization?”

Roan Carneiro Uncertain With UFC Future, Feels Robbed
"I did five fights, I have two victories, two losses and one robbery. I had a four fight contract and did two, let’s see how it’ll be now, I don’t know if they’ll call me for these two fights or just end my contract. I’ll let this in Alex Davis (his manager) and God’s hands”, said Jucăo, that is not worried about leaving the event. "
“I’d like to do these last two fights, but this last one was very frustrating. I don’t blame UFC, I failed my tactics, but I won. If I need to leave UFC that’s ok. Babalu (Sobral) left, TimSylvia, Arlovski, and many others did and are still there fighting. Of course UFC is the biggest, but it’sthe only one”, said the BJJ black belt, that thought about fight at Jungle Fight, in Rio de Janeiro. “I want to fight again in Brazil, and Jungle Fight is growing and if Wallid Ismail (Jungle Fight promoter) wanna a welterweight fighter, I’d love to fight. Jungle is in my hometown, I’d love to see my friends and fight is what I know to do”.

Jason MacDonald Signs New Four Fight Deal With The UFC
Canadian UFC Middleweight Jason MacDonald has inked a new deal with the UFC. The top middleweight made the announcement on his Sportsnet.ca blog. MacDonald, who holds a 5-3 since debuting in the UFC Octagon in October 2006 holds notable wins over Chris Leben, Jason Lambert, and Ed Herman.
From his blog:
I signed a new contract with the UFC this week. It's a new four-fight deal, so I'll be looking forward to four more fights in the UFC and hopefully climbing my way to the top of the division.
On the next few cards there are quite a few middleweight matchups, So it will be interesting to see who they match me up with next.
My gut feeling is I'm going to fight Michael Bisping, win or lose in his upcoming bout. I have no particular reason for that. Nobody has said anything to lead me to believe that. I just see that happening. But then again Alessio Sakara just had a good knockout so maybe they'll think that is a good matchup, another striker vs. grappler matchup.
UFC May Bring David Loiseau Back To Big Show
After putting together three straight wins, former UFC Middleweight Title contender David "The Crow" Loiseau has found himself back in the sights of UFC match maker Joe Silva.
A source close to the UFC has informed MMANews.com that the company is interested in bringing Loiseau back to the Octagon, possibly in his next fight. There is a possibility that Loiseau may have to take one more fight outside of the UFC depending on schedules and potential match ups, but if all goes well "The Crow" could be back sometime over the next few months.
Loiseau made a quiet exit from the UFC in 2006 following a dismal performance against Mike Swick in which he lost a unanimous decision. Prior to that fight he lost to Rich Franklin in a UFC Middleweight title fight that many believe was a significant turning point in his career, for the worst.
Since his departure, Loiseau has won four of six fights, his last two fights being stoppages via (T)KO. His last loss came to UFC newcomer Jason Day, who was given a shot at the big show following the win over Loiseau.
Attempts to reach David were not immediately returned but we will have more on this story as it develops.
