I don't think its insulin.
Yeah, everyone is on it suddenly, but it's been around for 15 years.

Maybe it's just the fact that the internet has brought BBing everywhere, so the guys who really are genetic freaks - the Brewers, the Locketts, Evan, etc - are more likely to be found and start young.  As opposed to playing football in high school, they're bodybuilding from 9th grade and are credible threats by age 21.  back in the day, there were phenoms- Shawn and levrone for example.

Maybe there is something new, but I doubt it.  More likely just more people exposed, and thanks to the web, guys can buy all the pieces to the formula, not just what they can get from a guy at the gym.  instead of taking orals when you can get them, guys are doing pro stacks at age 16 with hgh, insulin, test, etc.

Id think that moreso than the drugs.

More Drugs - Its had a knock on effect too of less nutrional and exercise knowledge being required by bodybuilders!! This has resulted in more genetically gifted "athletes" rising to the top WITHOUT this knowledge which results in lower quality physiques!! The guys of the '70's and '80's were like nutritionists and exercise physiologists.... Incredibly knowledgable and it showed in their physiques.

I don't think it has to do, necessarily, with the TYPE of Drugs that are using these Days ... rather, I think it has to do with the AMOUNT that they are using instead. 240 ... I don't buy into your Theory at all ... KIDS have ALWAYS lifted Weights ... mainly because High School Sports require you to ... and, YES, that includes Diet as well ( I know because I played High School Sports ). However, I do agree with the fact that MORE and MORE Kids ( Young Adults, Teens, etc. ... whatever ! ) are using Steroids ... and NOT just the basic Anabolics.

Agreed.  Don't forget Gaspari and some of the guys from the early and mid-80s.  Hell, Lee Haney was only 25 when he won his first Olympia in '84.  At 32, he was almost as yount winning his 8th Sandow as Yates (30) & younger than Coleman (34) when they won their first.
