Author Topic: Christian Bale (Batman star)arrested over assault on mother and sister (Read 10780 times)

Word round the campfire is that Bale doesnt speak to his mother/sister anymore, they are both druggies/alcoholics, they barged in to his hotel and waited outside his room then launched themselves at him, he shouted at them and they called the police saying he "verbally" assaulted them

yeah. if he'd hit anyone it would have been "battery" instead of "assault". all this means is they had a big argument.

For an assault you have to be put in fear of an immediate and unlawful application of force. So, yeah, yelling at someone can constitute an assault.

Still disturbed that the man went down to 119 pounds from 185 pounds for his role in The Machinist. There is dedication and then there is pure and simple insanity. Can't someone die at 119 pounds if they are 6'0"?

Bale is a fucking great actor and has made some great films. He played an ex solider in Harsh Times. That was a fucked up movie. Good though.
