first off your comparing the best lb for lb (boxer)on the planet to a 300 lb bodybuilder whos least worry is being able to get his cardio up to a level of a pro boxer, even amature boxer at that.bodybuilding judges dont care if your cardio is good or not, boxers cardio is a must and prolly one of the most important tools in his arsenol.under queensbury boxing rules ronnie wouldnt even be able to come out for the second or 3rd round against floyd,im sure some of you boxed before and those gloves may only weigh a lb or less, but holding them at chin level while someones firing away combos at you gets awful tiring.and the bigger your guns and delts are,the heavier the gloves start to feel every minute that goes by.ronnie is a bodybuilder, prolly the best there ever was,but id have to disagree that ronnie could beat floyd in a boxing match,a mma match would be a totally different story cause of the option to grab and force your opponant to the floor and use your weight to hold him down and pound on him,if ronnie grabbed floyd, which in a cage is pretty likely since 95% of all street and mma matches end up in a clinch,it would be a huge problem for floyd.if ronnie mounted him it would be pretty much over.i dont see floyd sweeping ronnie, his only hope would be to get back to the half guard position and then work back to full guard,i dont even think floyd would be able to use a closed guard on ronnie cause hes to huge, lol.floyd would have to work a butterfly guard or rubber guard, then hope ronnie gasses by punching himself out,the thing is if ronnie nails him with one of those bombs while punching down at floyds head, floyds head will be most likely against the canvas and floyd will be out cold at best.strength does help and who ever says it doesnt is wrong, but imo ill take experiance, great cardio and great technique over strength anyday in a mma/street fight
