haha, nah my brother lived in N CA.....I am from NC.  I think you would fit in very nicely here...... ;D

Been through Charolette a few times, then down to SC, Red Hill?

People are great from my experience. Had a bitchin dinner in this restaraunt that brews it's own beer and they have the vats right there. It was by the stadium.

Probably Rock Hill, SC....it's just across the state line from Charlotte.  If you like BBQ, NC has some excellent stuff....... I live in Raleigh, but grew up in a small town in the mountains.....moved away for a few years and then back to NC.

Made the mistake of having Italian food while in Charlotte :-X
next time down we went to the Capitol Grill and they wanted over $35.00 a steak.Hell,I live close to NYC and don't pay much.

I landed in Columbia SC once and was impressed with the four terminals it had. ;D

Camden, Arkansas had the best BBQ, some shanty on the side of the road with some guy BBQing out of about 8  50 gallon drums cut in half.

I love those type of BBQ places.....best in NC is around Lexington and quite a few "eastern BBQ" out this way.  There are some good ones around Chapel Hill, too. 

and Calvin why would you go to an Italian place in the south?  that like me going up north and ordering grits...haha
