Chrysler likely to file next week
« on: April 23, 2009, 05:32:49 PM »
 UAW agreement reached.

They are saying it is likely there will be a BK filing next week.

Say goodbye to that bailout money. Scammed and screwed with no lube...again.

And sad thing about it is, a few yrs ago, Chrysler had some of the best and most daring Concept designs out of the Big Three. The Copperhead, the Firepower, and others. Chrysler was pumping them out. They were actually a design Tour De Force.

The sad part is that all the money that was pumped into this company went bye bye.

yep, but also out of the Big three they were main ones to make their Concept cars into reality. There were a few that could have been cash cows. The Razor for example, would have been a Miata/Mini Cooper fighter. it had a small 4 cylinder engine, RWD and a great design. it would been a great competitor against the importshttp://www.allpar.com/model/concepts/dodge-razor.html

then there was the Firepower. This was a upmarket car that was like a upscale Viper (based on the Viper chassis, but had the 6.1 Hemi), a gorgeous design...but again they never produced it. They could have made more money on the Viper chassis http://www.chrysler.com/en/autoshow/concept_vehicles/firepower/

And this is just two examples.  It's sad how sometimes the people up top don't follow their brains, but follow the beancounters, the beancounters are the ones that screw the company up.

I actually like the look of some Chrysler  cars because it reminds  of 30's art deco. That Firepower interior looks sweet.
