Brian Cushing the linebacker from USC chosen in the first round was 160 pound freshman. 3 years later he's in the 240 range.  Natural or not?  He's a linebacker so he's not some fat schlub but is fit.  I was reading how some sports writers are indirectly calling him out on being on something.  What do you guys think?

LMAO!  No he's not on anything.  It's perfectly natural even with supergenetics to put on 80lbs in 3 years.  Happens all the time.

I put on over 40 lbs training for just 2 years and wasn't using shit and have crap genetics when it comes to building muscle.

Even if he did take a little drop of medicine, the majority of his growth was due to an improved training and nutrition regimen as well as his maturing into his body.

That's the thing  from 18-21 you're a testosterone fucking spark-plug.  Years later you start going downhill.
The best years for growth for sure, Cushing had access to the right diet, world class trainers, facilities, dieticians etc...  everything you'd ever need.  Fucking USC labs probably brewing up shit we haven't heard of yet either.

Didn't Cushing fail a test?  He had mad gyno in HS and was already a workout fanatic when he got to SC.  Juiced to the gills.

Guess we'll find out in a few years like we did with Brian Bosworth. Remember him being flattened by Bo Jackson?

I have a friend who's on a grant at a local university working on muscle atrophy drugs etc...  For fun he created HGH.  He wouldn't use it or share it because of losing his grant (fucking ethics) but they are always trying to create new drugs for muscle growth.  Who knows what these guinea pigs  athletes get from their schools

Dude how old are you?  You sound like a fucking naive teenager.  First off I don't know where you got 80lbs from.  Because Cushing hardly looks like he gained 80lbs.  So that part is bullshit.  Secondly, do you have a clue what an androgen is?  You act like teenage males have supraphysiological doses of testosterone.  Yes they have higher levels but they are not supraphysiological.  They don't turn into the fucking Hulk overnight.  Also androgens are resonsible mainly for secondary sex characteristics and not only muscle growth hence puberty.  Cushing may very well have achieved those gains naturally but no way in hell he gained 80lbs in 3 years.  Some of you have no clue the kind of numbers you throw around.  Or whoever started the 80lb gain rumor.

Dude do you even know anything about college athletics?  You honestly think USC as a higher learning institution would be providing breakthrough performance enhancement technology to their football players?  Dude that is the fucking stupidest shit I've ever heard.  Their football program would die overnight if the media and general public got wind of something like that.  They'd never risk something so stupid.  Are you seriously 12 years old?

I don't buy it Tre.  I couldn't put on 20lbs of muscle in 5 years of training, so you must be lying!
 ;D
Gotta love the getbig mentality...if I couldn't do it, there's NO way you could..haha

People need to understand, your first year of training, putting on 20lbs of muscle is ENTIRELY possible without drugs.  The fact is, most people don't have the diet to support their workouts.  They workout consistently, but FAIL when it comes to diet.
After the initial big gain in muscle, 5lbs of muscle a year is impressive...naturally.

Once again, most people have zero faith in their own ability or have the heart to diet hard for a year or two.  No less 5 years, etc.
Whether or not Cushing is on gear or not, who cares.  I will say, at least athletes have a reason to take drugs....lots of money.  Unlike your typical gym rat, who takes gear to "compete". haha, what a sad excuse to use drugs.  Fact is, most just can't hack it on their own....period. ;) then use competing as a reason for their drug use, when really, there is none.

::)  Just shut up.  40lbs of muscle is not the same thing as 40lbs of fat, water, and muscle.  Sure most guys can gain as much weight as they can stuff food in their mouth.  But when that muscle is lean and vascular it ain't natural.  Cushing may have gained what he did naturally, but knowing him, college football and athletes these days chances are highly doubtful he did.

Ease up on the roid rage there spanky.  80 pounds is not a rumor.  He was 160 entering college and now rated as 240.  Now those numbers might be lies to enhance his stats for the draft, but the dude did get jacked fast.  I don't think he ever failed a test either.  Speculation was he might have.  And yes, schools don't directly give their athletes shit fucktard.  Most of these ADs turn their heads to most of this shit anyways.  You've got kids willing to do and take anything to make it and if that means injecting some new shit you bet they'd do it without blinking an eye.  Do you think he just took test and dbol and passed all of his drug tests?

Who was the moron that said USC was giving him gear....dude, you haven't a clue what SC does in there athletic programs but I can GUARANTEE one thing, that ain't it!

During his discressionary time Cushing works with two people, one here in So. Cal (whos name I won't say) and on the east coast Joe Defranco, it's he does during that discressionary time on the east coast that should be questioned.

Oh brother, our resident USC expert...

This is coming from the guy who went to ONE training session at USC and then was requested to leave early, while more qualified people on the staff continued to participate.....

Dude you don't even think.  You just spout shit that makes no sense.  First off look at the damn pictures.  There is no way in hell Cushing gained 80lbs of muscle.  I hardly doubt he weighed only 160lbs going into college.  And judging by various pics he does not look 240.

Second, you said USC is giving him shit they cooked up in their labs.  That's fucking retarded.  Now if you wanted to argue USC might play politics when it came to drug testing fine.  I'd buy it.  But no way in hell USC would risk their reputation by doping their own football players.  That's the stupidest thing you could ever come up with.  Athletic directors might turn their heads when it comes to strip clubs and cheating but it's their ass on the line and their job if their players are caught red handed with drugs in their system.  They might turn their head but no way in hell are they encouraging nor directly involved in doping up the players.  That's assinine and if you think that you have no clue how college athletics work or how much a school's reputation is on the line.  Plus it's not hard to pass piss tests nowadays.  Least of all college football piss tests.

I'm up there at least once per week for the last 3 or so months, so yes, I know the programs and most of the players well.
