Swallow after sucking Serras Coque the whole fight, grant it was not the best fight for two guys that supposedly hate each other, but Serra did not hit Hughes to knock him down, was a headbut, the "big" punch totally missed, what did Serra do, hit 5 punches the whole fight, Hughes is not a stand up fighter and did what he wanted to do, took him down and dominated him, no did not ground and pound, but did throw him around the ring, it's called ring control and Hughes had it

He is a great BJJ practioner. For anyone who knows anything about Serra it's that he was the first American Black Belt in his JJ style. He aint no joke and his hands have gotten a lot better but it's been to late for too many years. He has heavy hands as well..

Again showing why he is over rated, he does nothing on the ground, he pulls guard and prays for a stand up, GSP destroyed him on the ground and Hughes controlled him, making a face and acting tough does nothing to prove you're great at bjj, what does he have like 5 fights in the UFC and lost 3 of them

Well I do have to say he was working against Hughes trying for submissions, but remember dude Hughes is a big strong guy who is no chump on the ground. The moves that Hughes has won with are nothing short of a black belt level in JJ (previouis fights). Serra is by far one of my most hated fighters, but to say that the dude is a chump is crazy to me. I highly respect his ground game, but hughes has one of the best JJ games that goes unmentioned. Combine it with his wrestling and you got a dude that could lay and pray on some of the best and not lose possition.

I just think Serra has a ground game on par with the best in his weight class, but opinions are like assholes, every one has one and they all stink
