He didn't throw the fight, he gassed. The fixed fight was Machida v. Shogun

Shogun won that fight no doubt, haven't seen to many worse decisions in boxing but Silva didn't fight this fight. Dana was protecting the cash cow that is Rashad Rampage, if Rashad had lost this fight there would be no Rampage Rashad and hes put too much into making this happen, the cracks are appearing in the UFC creditability

I agree with K-1, I thought exactly the same thing, watching that silva fight.  Rampage is a better standup fighter and less likely to get taken down.  Not a good combination to take into a fight where you've got to do what you just did, only better and you barely escaped the last one.  Rashad is extremely comical when he gets stunned.  Yet another crazy legs moment for the archives.

If it were ever to come out that a fight was fixed the UFC would not survive it...anyone that thinks dana would risk a billion dollar empire all over fixing a single fight is not even worth the time it takes to debate such an ignorant claim.....

some judges and refs are just retarded, even dana is open with that.

oh I agree...any sport is subject to bad judging/refereeing/umpiring and what not,and mazagatti does suck...but to make a claim that a fix is in from the get go is laughable....

He was knocked out on his feet dude, if you knew anything about fighting you would know this is a condition where the guy is still standing responding, but not really 'there' it's also called rubber legs..the guy was no idea what is going on and where he is but is still somehow standing/slouching up before collapsing on the canvas. For Rashad, he managed to recover and get his marbles back togeether.

To me a KO is when your completly OUT, you fall to the ground and hit the back of your head because your completly OUT.

The deffenition might be different from person to person though =)

it's because he doesn't have rubber legs...and was conscious despite a knock out type hit...he was blessed with solid equalibrium at that instance

Clearly Rashads antics was getting to him (Thiago), making him frustrated and eventually causing a Meltdown of epic proportions.

Thiago just have to fight smarter next time.

Rashad had a very intelligent/boring gameplan to win. Not fun for the audience, but good for his record.

lol.

Page is past his prime, which was when those fights were..   in his prime.  ANd the one with Wandy is nothing.  Wandy is WAY past his prime too these days.  Wandy v Page is like chuck v tito.  Get real dude.

He's washed up.  Too one dimensional.  Rashad all day on that fight.

Just calling it like I see it. If Rampage were fighting someone like Machida, Anderson Silva or even Thiago Silva I would be worried.

The Wanderlie Silva fight was just last year. Rampage has had some time off to heal and recoup at least from fighting. He's still only 31 or 32.

yes, the fight with wandy/page was last year, but they're both past their primes imo.   FIghters hit their primes at different ages.  I think Page's was 3-4 years ago.

Used to like him, but UF show really showed a cocky asshole side of him.  On the other hand, Rashad was level headed and intelligent as a coach.  I just think Rashad is too much for Page.  But, as we all know, anything can happen.  Pulling for Rashad though.
