it shows that in about a yr he is starting to balance bush's f@@ked books.  only in north america do jack ass@s cry about a person is doing some good or at least trying.  plenty of 3rd world s@@t holes would love to have obama as their leader.  send him to cuba.  we love him already for at least letting a couple of usa dollar flow thru our republican ravaged economy.

You can have him. Its really funny how so many other countries love Obama when he hasn't done shit.

Since he has proven a spineless disaster, how many of you helped put him in charge?

I didn't but then again I didn't vote this year because of Palin. Obama and Bidens stance on the second amendment is horrible and Palin is just a fucking head case.

Obama is trying to clean up a very big mess and he isn't apparently living up to the hype that was created around him

If you look at that graph again, it is somewhat interesting that the democrats controlled congress that whole time.  2007-2010.
Both parties are to blame but congress controls overall spending.  Pelosi is the worst and most divisive speaker I remember.
There's always a recover after a recession, we'll continue to see how things go.  The level of spending is making our national deficit astronomical.

BTW, I find it funny that before Obama was elected 90% of the people on this site were praising him for his "change" bullshit now no one will even admit they voted for him. Polish a turd and its still a turd!!

It's not about blaming bush.  It's about looking at the exact set of circumstances (monthly job losses) that were occuring in 2007 and 2008 until he left the job.

To be fair, I think Mccain's numbers would be pretty similar to these.  he inherited a slide, and it turned around.  Mccain and Palin both supported the bailout bill, and probably would have rolled with some sort of stimulus as well.  They were okay with printing trillions to fun the banks in 08... I doubt they would have had an about face in 2009 (Palin changed positions in her book, but was a vocal supporter of the bill in 08).

Anyway, this would probably be the same for mccain.  Neither Obama nor mccain created the job loss rate in jan 2009.  They inherited it.

Congress become under Democrat control in 2006. Most of Bush's spending was for war. One of the war's was not needed but We was working with what he had been dealt.

You want to screw something up, put a freaking liberal in charge and see things get worst than what Bush did.

I guess you could say it took one year for what Obama did compared to the EIGHT it took Bush. I guess thats why that graph doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot. Bush left at around 6-7% UE, Obama brought it to 10% in a year when he said it wouldn't go beyond 8%.

actually the national debt (the dollar) and unemployment is everything

oboma has accumulated 4 times the debt in one year than bush did in 4 years, the debt was 144 billion when bush left , oboma has since then increased the debt to 1.2 trillion or so, that is VERY BAD epic failure, passing the debt on down the road to our children

unemployment at 10 percent when bush left it was like 8

so mainly the dollar went to shit

I voted libertarian.

Things are very tough economically right now.
TA posted this image.  Maybe what we're seeing now is the total sum of all these lost jobs.  But it does give some hope that maybe all the jobs to be lost, have been lost.

does that take into account people who stopped looking? didn't think so.
