McCain Campaign Releases Details of Brown Visit
« on: March 04, 2010, 07:48:55 PM »
Brown 2012, huh?   Superstar 1-month Senate veteran backing the pro-amnesty, pro-bailout RINO instead of the conservative candidate determined to cut spending and lock down the border.

Sen. Scott Brown (Mass.), one of the GOP’s hottest commodities, will be bringing his newfound stardom to Phoenix and Tucson later this week when he hits the campaign trail with Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

The McCain campaign released details Tuesday of Brown’s two appearances in the state — a rally at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix at noon Mountain time on Friday and a meet-and-greet at the historic Manning House in Tucson on Saturday at 4 p.m. Mountain time.

McCain and Brown will also catch the University of Arizona versus University of Southern California basketball game Saturday.

McCain is bringing in Brown, a GOP superstar since his upset special election victory in January, as he looks to beat back a primary challenge from former Rep. J.D. Hayworth.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), McCain’s vice presidential pick in 2008, is also swooping in later this month to campaign with McCain and help shore up his standing among his conservative base.

well, I would really like to see the republican party move to a tea party platform (and kick out the minority of vocal racists).

hayworth, perry, and other tea party backed candidates winning would be a very cool thing.  instead, he's using his star power to preserve the RINO statute :(

Do you really think the Republican party could survive without RINO's?  There's so much diversity within each party along the political spectrum that to kick out everybody who isn't staunchly Republican would, IMO, be the death of the party.

reagan wasn't a RINO, party did okay those days.

i'm not saying 'kick out' people from the party.  I'm saying elect new blood that isn't Lib-lite, like mccain.  The dude WROTE the amnesty bill and helped to SELL the bailout.

I'm not saying kick ppl out.... i'm saying repubs should choose more far-right candidates in the primaries, and kick out any racist a-holes.

You miss the point here.Brown was befriended by McCAIN LONG BEFORE HE GOT ELECTED.They are friends.Pals backing each other is whats supposed to happen.Same with Palin. She owes her career to McCain. It would be shitty as hell if she turned her back on him.
