Should HGH being forced on the elderly?
« on: September 10, 2010, 05:13:37 AM »
By all accounts this is the miracle drug/fountain of youth. With that said shouldn't this be part part of regular geriatric treatment?

a great percentage of the healthcare cost is from "elderly care", wouldn't this reduce the cost drastically? this would improve the quality of life as well.  HGH cost would drop from being mass produced..think aspirins prices

I think you will see it become more and more prevalent for the reasons you say.

Forced, no. Incorporated if needed, yes.

One should be allowed to self medicate with any substance free of any government control.

i agree, as long as the taxpayer doesn't have to front the cost of their upcoming medical bills because of their actions.

Alas, cosmetic improvements are not the same thing--and are not a substitute for--a lifetime of healthy choices.  HGH can only do so much. :-\

If every elderly person used it there would be so many adverse effect reports it would be dropped very quickly. There is no drug that is all good, all the time.

This is what the 'anti-ageing' centers would like you to believe. Well, it ain't all that, it definately has its uses, but it is not a panacea against aging.
