jfk, carter, and reagan are all horrible choices.


FDR, with my limited knowledge on th subject, is the one i considered the best. though he was far from perfect. just much better than everything else weve had.

No one better in our lifetime.  No one.  Outside of that, George Washington did an excellent job of starting this nation.  The current president is doing his best to humiliate it.

The nation was falling apart when this guy was president and yet here we are today. Lincoln had to make some tough calls and seemed to make the right ones most of the time.

I'm not naive enough to think he was the catalyst for abolishing slavery. America was pretty much on the way there before Lincoln came around.
