A LOT of you would have been kids in year 2000 (or "Y2K") and it was the same shit then, computers (which controlled EVERYTHING including the power grid) were all supposed to shut down as they were not "able" to read the year change from 1999 to 2000.

LOL....i remember that. i was actually AT WORK cutting over a new telecom system from and old one, which is pretty computer dependent, and it went off without a glitch. there will always be an idiot screaming the world is ending, and people latching onto it. After this passes without incident another "doomsday prophecy" will be along to replace it shortly
