I rarely look at the names of the people on here. It's a bunch of anonymous people so there is no point. The only people I remember are those that write truly insightful or hilarious things or those that I know in real life. So, who are you?

You have done nothing to prove that otherwise. So he gained 15 lbs in one day? That is what I call a carb-up! He looked much, much smaller than he was for his fight with Mir. I think he was barely 260 lbs. In any case, Cain and Fedor are not comparable. Cain is a lean 245 lbs compared to Fedor who is a fat 225 lbs. When you take into consiideration bodyfat, Cain has 40 lbs of muscle on Fedor.

He is a great fighter and has had more success than other's will have ... anyone is entitled to their own opinion and allowed to disagree

Hmmm...you can in fact nullify his record. Please take a close look at the majority of the opponents he faced. Most had less than 5 fights (some only 1!) and/or way more losses than wins. Then, of course, there are the sideshow freaks like Hong Man Choi, or undersized opponents like Lindland (which he cheated to win) or Babalu (which went to decision).

Yes, Fedor's record looks impressive at first glance. But, aside from some epic wins of Big Nog & Crop Cop, it's really not that impressive...

I'm not buying into that cheating theory .. unless every fighter in the octagon that's been told about hanging on to the fence is given the same rap .. the supposed "holding" of the ropes had no direct relation to how the fight ended

He wasn't the one in charge of picking his opponents so he fought who he was put up against .. he's had more fights than Couture .. and I'm not slamming Couture .. I really like him too .. I'm just not going to be swayed into thinking Fedor's career was a joke .. and I'm real sorry that people want to do so

If his opponents were all supposed to be high ranking in order to be seen as worthy .. then that should be done for every fighter

thats because you've only looked at fight finder and havent seen most of his fights. Fedor destroys cans with ease unlike GSP who cant even finish them.

This is what ruined Fedor and his legacy and made many question how good he really is in today's MMA.

I'm sick and tired of seeing the same people fight over and over so unless there's going to be a new slew of guys fighting .. WHEN will we see the fights people want to see ? Hasn't the whole thing become pretty close to recycling the same fights ?

You could make the same argument with any fighter, easy fights, undersized opponents, rubber matches ect GSP and Silva both have loses to cans on their record. And so what if Fedor fought an undersized Lindland Anderson and GSP fight smaller opponents with less reach than them most of the time and dont get any flack for it. And how many more times is GSP gonna fight guys the UFC know he can beat to build his status and "legacy"? UFC cares more about GSPs image and padding his record than challenging him with a fight he might actually lose.

We both agree about Lesnar. And we both agree that there are some guys whose records are also unimpressive because of too many can crushing wins. But, there are guys who have truly cleaned out their division against high caliber opposition. And, they may have more losses on their record than Fedor, but that is what happens when you are consistently fighting the best.

What fights do you want to see that aren't happening? Aside from some of the top Strikeforce guys, the elite fighters have all been facing each-other in the UFC. And in less than a year, we will get to see Alistar, Diaz, Melendez, etc. square off against the top UFC guys....
