Shawn ray, Levrone, flex?
Get the fuck out of here......Shawn in 94 was out-massed and out conditioned by Dorian, Kevin in 92 was outmassed and same in 2002 (his legs were toothpicks and he had a non exsistent back) Flex was raped in 98 and in 99.
I love how people assume that these guys were uncrowned Mr Olympias........when? what year?
They can never go into specifics explaining how and when they should of won.

The only controversial was perhaps 1997 and 2007, when Nasser and Victor lost.
Victor was in superior condition with superior shape where Nasser had an advantage in muscle shape and aesthetics. But Nasser was out conditioned and destroyed from the back. Victor was not.

Only one controversial Olympia and that is 2007.

HAHAHA, Martinez at his best wouldn't even place top 5 in the late 90's mix with those guys.

Agree about all the 90's guys.

Fact is the IFBB judging criteria favored all those guys in the 90's, and people just dont like when their favorite BB loses, especially when the winner may not have been up to his respective best.

BTW, Dorian should have lost to Shawn. Dorian was smooth as fuk, forget about the injuries, he was a month out looking.

Nope.
Too light to fight, too thin to win.
Plus Phil Heath narrow and short. Ray just didnt have the kind of imposing herculean figure Doz did, he was small, flat out. Epic, yes, but still small. A small BB has to be absolutley PERFECT in every way to win against someone who dwarfs him as bad as Doz did. And as great as Ray was, he did have flaws.
HTH

BUT - Greatest short BB ever IMO, up there with Padilla and Labrada

Ray is killing Dorian in this shot.

Vic Martinez is shit, by the way, and never deserved an Olympia title.

I'm a huge fan of Kevin, Flex and Shawn but they deserved to place second every year. Flex really had bad luck because he was always second when the champ was in monster shape.

I believe Flex lost by 1 point in 98, and I forgot how much in 99...It could have gone either way in 93...many had Flex winning it...and had he shown up in his 93 Arnold condition he just might have...same was said in 98..
Shaw Ray had the conditioning in 94, plus he was complete---Dorian had a effed up arm...

The difference in 98 was 3 points. :) Ronnie won every round with perfect scores except the first one. It took time that judges noticed how great Ronnie was. Same thing happened to Gunther in 2002. He was in 11th place after symmetry round but when the judges noticed him he was "suddenly" in a third place in last two rounds.(ended up in fifth).

Shawn deserved the Sandow in 1996, but not 1994.

i don t understand why people say dorian was off in 1994

only his tan was

he gained size and was as hard as in 1993

ok his bi was torn but he was much more muscular , massive and harder than any other competitor ecept münzer, but münzer was thin comp to him

watch 1994 german gp video to see how good he was in 1994

the only year he was off was 1997, when he had to go all for size because of his severe triceps injurie, unable to train he just upped the dose to be at least the biggest

You have a great BBing knowledge for someone who has barely been in the sport long gimmick.

Yeh but he would have won in 2007. That's an uncrowned Mr.O, when you're better than the guy beating you, not when the guy who is better was better 10 years ago or looked great on the day but the guy ahead of him was better.

07 was the biggest Olympia debacle of them all.  The fridge shouldn't have even been in the top 6.

Errrr wtf just look at the picture. Dorian is bigger that's all, if you want to go on that criteria then Lou should have won.

ROnnie did not win every round in '98. Flex won the symmetry and Ronnie the muscularity, and then ronnie somehow won the posing round with his horrible routine.

Ronnie 17 5 5 5=32
