The love couples have for each other is temporary, and it fluctuates constantly. Thats why people get divorced. If people didn't use 'love' to be in a relationship then divorce rates would be lower. In this generation people are looking for this 'chemical high. Your job as a man is to attract a woman, and keep her attracted. Is that not tiring? You build comfort , you get to know her blah blah. Everything is going well.. and then one day she turns around and says 'I don't love you anymore.' Honestly I blame hollywood movies lol, and just society in general. From a young age girls are sold the idea 'love.' Whereas in older generations a lady was taught that when you marry somebody you stick with them through thick and thin, through health and sickness etc etc. 'Till death do us part' actually meant something. Now, you have to worry about keeping her 'attraction ' levels high


I'd rather follow my morals, not my feelings.Instead I do the logical. Relationships take WORK, it shouldn't be based on chemical reactions. And sadly, that's the type of society we live in now. Marriages that last 50yrs, is becoming a rarity, if not extinct. That's because in our generation we live by our feelings. We're so bratty in the sense that if we don't feel good, we just exit.

great post.  and the younger generations in this country are lied to on a continuous basis by hollywood and mainstream media who portray love as something that happens to us and not something that needs to be worked on.  in movies and on television, children are getting a very skewed and misleading view of what love actually is.  the credits roll at the wedding.  in reality that is when the love story actually starts. 
i love my wife now worlds more than i did 10 years ago.  that is because we are building something together. do i look at beautiful women and want to fuck the shit out of them?  yes.  but i can't.  that is my duty as a husband and father.  not to put my marriage and family in harms way.  people have this belief that if they see something that tempts them, they should go after it because then their marriage obviously isn't working.  unfortunately, these same people go through life repeating the same vicious cycle over and over again and blaming everything and everyone around them for their selfishness.  it is the new liberal belief that "if it feels good, do it".

mariages are destroyed because people lost spirituality while becoming atheists. Their new religion is a mix of TV soaps, porn, material goods and blind domination of others at all costs. Socialism is one of the cause, feminism is another one. They killed the father, the family, kids, and women want to become men. All of this started when occidentals abandonned christianity.

You cannot have a happy life/mariage and raise happy kids without spirituality.
