PBW Announcement - Episode #240

"DEXTER - ON THE RECORD" (Replay Now Available)

From Jacksnoville to Venice...From Vegas to Madrid - Former Champ Opens Up!

Last weekend in Madrid, Dexter Jackson closed out his 13th season on the IFBB's pro circuit.  Regarded as one of this era's most decorated champions, Dexter visits PBW this week and openly discusses a 36 month journey that began on September 27th, 2008, the night he was crowned Mr. Olympia.  In the months that followed, "The Blade" was known as the man who conquered Cutler.....until all of that changed 1 year later when Cutler's revenge relegated Dexter to 3rd place, setting off a series of professional disappointments, as the former champ fought to remain among the best in the world.  Tune in this week as Dexter opens up about the events that helped make the past 36 months the most challenging of his professional life. (Plus: A Look Back at the Inaugural "Arnold Classic Europe") Presented by MuscleTech, "Pro Bodybuilding Weekly" airs on Mondays at 8pm ET.

Ok, just listened to Dexter's PBW interview.  Gotta give the man credit.  Came across humble but made some good points.

Said that other guys like Cutler had some questionable wins, but there's never been any debates about his wins.  Also said Cutler was a great champ but received some generous judging.  Also said Heath is awesome and there's nothing bad you can say about the guy.  He seemed like he's at peace and proud that he got one Olympia title since he never thought he could ever win it.  Said hes most proud of going from being a bantam weight all the way to being Mr. O.

Cool interview Dexter.  Class act.  RESPECT.

best body in the world right now and since some years now

well yes as no ,,his legs have lost the seperation they once had and they were never as freaky as his upper body ,conditioning with fullness is down a tad and that tad is still pretty incredible considering how long he's been at it on stage,,so yes a 90pct dex is still better than many,,,but 100 pct dex was outstanding.imo...

How come he didn't mutate like the others?

Cause he focused on quality not quantity.

The judgers should never have given Branch 2nd place in 2009 over Dexter.

On PBW, Lee was talking about how the judges finally chose a Mr Olympia (Phil Heath) with a tight waist. In doing so, he was suggesting that the judges were doing the wrong thing for many years with how they were judging contests. Did he forget that Dexter in 2008 had and continues to have, a tight waist? Did he choose Branch over Dexter in 2009?

Do the judges have any idea what they are doing?
