Heat = brutal underachievement.
I don't think so. The first time they made it to the Finals against Dallas they simply weren't the better team. They had "The Big 3" but Wade is old/injured and their bench was as thin as a sheet of paper.
When they won last year against the Thunder they had a quality bench, depth and played against a OKC team that wasn't quite up to their level or at the very least they choked. They showed their weakness against the Pacers as well in the Eastern Conf. finals. They aren't bulletproof nor are they a super team. They are just really good with the best player in the league.
This year....Wade is about done, he is nowhere near the player he was 2-3 years ago. Slow, old and injured. Can still hit a shot, though. Bench is so-so and the D is still pretty good. Again, they aren't some Super Killer Team, they are top 5 in the league, no doubt, but there are teams just as good, if not better. The Pacers have size, speed, youth, defense and talent...bench is OK as well. If Miami loses this series, which the could, I wouldn't say they underachieved.
