You mean like his being a part of the "New Party" which was a socialist organization that you have NEVER said a peep about?

Again - you, like most obama cult members, are so hopelessly uninformed on so many issues, its shocking you consider yourself up to speed on most issues.

And the answer is no.. They are both looked in too wayyyy too much.. Youre over here posting about Obamas Aunt and long lost brother. And others post about Mittens religion which i think has nothing to do with anything (or obamas for that matter). So dude spare me with the "ohhhh they treat Mittens unfair" yet all of obamas shit is aired out and then other shit is made up

Its aired out here.   But in the MSM how often have you heard about the "New Party" stuff?

As far as Mittens, they are all in attack mode since Obama can't run on his record.

Who's "Mitt Romney?"

Is he the one who led us through 4 years of mass-foreclosures, crumbling home-values, nearly double digit unemployment, a not-quite-government-run-single-payer....but definitely not-free-market-buyer-powered health care bill, the "fast and furious" fiasco, and unprecedented string of blaming his predecessor for all things "bad" though Jan-Feb-March-April-May-June-July-Aug-Sept-Oct-Nov-Dec-Jan-Feb-March-April-May-June-July-Aug-Sept-Oct-Nov-Dec-Jan-Feb-March-April-May-June-July-Aug-Sept-Oct-Nov-Dec-Jan-Feb-March-April-May-June-July of his first term?

If so....yeah, that dude sucks.

It's disgusting.     Obama and his cultists and slaves like 180 straw blackass andre Vince can't defend his record so they lie about mittens and attack capitalism in the process.

actually, romney claims he can FIX this ecnomic mess because of his business experience (plenty of outsourcing).

If romeny didn't bring up bain, dems sure as hell woudln't.

rommney was an outsourcer, romney said the economy is recovering right now.   He's less and less credible every day.

So Bain was an economic failure when he was in charge there?  That sucks!

On one hand we have a guy that's led us through 4 years of high unemployment and massive spending that failed to help.
On the other hand we have someone that was a total economic failure while he was in charge at Bain.  How can he expect to "FIX this ecnomic mess" when he ran Bain into the ground while he was in charge?

bain did great.  but running a company that dismantles firms = nothing like being president.  See his governor experience for that.

this is the thing, dude - i'm not saying obama is any better, he's not.

I'm saying this was a dumbfvck lie for romney to make.  Trying to distance himself from those 3 outsourcing years - when it's an easily provable lie.  He went to board meetings, he signed documents, his own lawyer said he was only there on a part-time basis in press releases.

romney made a dumb political move by lying about it.  "I left bain" is entirely untrue.  he worked LESS at bain  the truth.  This is a politics board, and politically, that was a dumb move.

Bain saved a lot of companies and turned a lot of companies around, get that through your head.

If it is an "easily provable lie" than prove it.

It was not until 2002 that Romney finalized a severance agreement with Bain, a 10-year deal with undisclosed terms that was retroactive to 1999.

Romney’s own words, along with other documentary evidence, appear to challenge his campaign’s assertion in a recent financial disclosure that Romney had “retired” from Bain in 1999 and “since February 11, 1999, Mr. Romney has not had any active role with any Bain Capital entity and has not been involved in the operations of any Bain Capital entity in any way.”

Financial disclosure forms Romney filed in Massachusetts indicate he earned at least $100,000 as a Bain “executive” in 2001 and 2002, separate from investment earnings.

In addition, Bloomberg news service reported Friday, Romney is named as one of two managing members of Bain Capital Investors LLC in annual reports filed in Massachusetts as late as 2002, “adding a new corporate entity to a growing number of Bain-related investments and funds that list the Republican presidential candidate as controlling the company three years after he said he left it.”Continued...

Romney also testified that “there were a number of social trips and business trips that brought back to Massachusetts, board meetings” while he was running the Olympics. He added that he remained on the boards of several companies, including the Lifelike Co., in which Bain Capital held a stake until 2001.

Romney’s lawyer at the hearing said that Romney’s work in the private sector continued unbroken while he ran the Olympics.

Romney is named as one of two managing members of Bain Capital Investors LLC in annual reports filed in Massachusetts as late as 2002, adding a new corporate entity to a growing number of Bain-related investments and funds that list the Republican presidential candidate as controlling the company three years after he said he left it.

Separate documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, reviewed by Bloomberg News, also show Romney in 2000 as the sole stockholder of Bain Capital Investors Inc.

Romney, 65, is worth as much as $250 million, according to financial documents his campaign has released.

Bain said in a statement this week that it took a while to transfer ownership to Romney’s successors “due to the sudden nature” of his decision to run the Olympics. Until the ownership situation was resolved, Romney continued to be listed as the sole stockholder and in various executive positions in SEC filings, the company said.

GOV. ROMNEY: Well I'm not sure which ones you're talking about, but I can tell you the people who have looked at the charges that the Obama campaign comes out with, which is that somehow we outsourced jobs, they've said that those were false and misleading. That the ads are inaccurate. Some have given it multiple Pinocchios. The president keeps on trying to divert any attention he can from his failure to turn around the American economy, and that's what this campaign's about. But the president keeps on trying to find something about Bain which is simply not true. And I left Bain in February of 1999. People can point out how - I was in Salt Lake City for three straight years. I don't recall even coming back once to go to a Bain or management meeting. We were, I was out there running the Olympics and it was a full time job, I can tell you that.

ROMNEY: I had no association with the management of Bain Capitol after February of 1999. That is when I left the firm. I am very pleased with the experience I had with the firm but as everyone knows I went on to run the Olympics for three years I was there full time after that I came back and ran in Massachusetts for governor. I had no role with regards to Bain Capital after February 1999.

he received a paycheck of 100,000 for service as a bain executive in 2001.

End thread.  "i had no association after Feb 1999" is a big lie.

They were paying him a salary.  He attended board meetings.  Sounds like a BIT of an association lol...

I don't get it?  So being a financial success in business means that you'll be a failure as president?

Of course Obama isn't any better.  The economy has been a shit hole for half a decade!   There's no sign that anything will change.  There's no sign from Obama that he's going to change how he does things.
It doesn't matter how much of a role he played.....how much is still (even after an entire presidential term in office) Bush's fault, or if somehow things could have actually been worse if not for Obama's brilliant leadership; the fact is there's no jobs, people are paying mortgages for homes that aren't worth anywhere close to what they owe, the people that have jobs are working more for less money and it's been that way for a long time.....with no expectation for things to change in the near future.

The people that decide elections are the people that don't vote along party lines....and those people are worse off than they've been in a long time.  The people who ran to the ballots with Obama slogans pinned to their shirt aren't going to be in quite as much of a hurry to get there this time.  A lot of the people sitting at home and going to work in the morning instead of voting in 2008 have lost that job and have foreclosed on their home.  On election night they're going to see the lost job and lost home....not Bain capital.

The fact is, the people who will be racing to the polls this time are going to be voting against Obama....not voting for him.  The people energized to vote for Obama in 2008 have been replaced by people who can't wait to vote for anything different.

The people who haven't been hit by unemployment, housing, etc., may or may not be excited about Obama care.  They might want to argue the intricacies of every non-econonomic issues that have sprung up under Obama.  That's fine, the 45 year old man who spent 20 years moving up in his job and raising his family in a home who has spent the last 5 years dealing with a lost job and having to move his family out of that home (that suddenly lost a huge amount of its supposed value) is pissed that there's no work, his home is worthless, and his kids are coming home from college with no hope of putting their shiny new degrees to work.....he may or may not like what ObamaCare entails, may or may not care about Bain capital....but right now he wants to know if this is the new normal...and is ready to vote for anyone "different."

What was his role?

This whole thing is about was he running Bain during those 3 years. Can it be proven that he was running Bain Capital during that time?

You speaking about being "associated" and this and that doesn't answer that singular question.

Nothing that is being presented, that I've seen at least, proves that he was in-charge and running Bain Capital during those 3 years.

He may have been, but nothing I've seen decisively proves it. All the info up to now hasn't answered that basic question.

Romney claimed he had NO ASSOCIATION after 1999.  his words.

You can say "what was his role..." but ANY role is considered an association.  And he claims he had none.

The fact he can get someone to pay him 100k while attending board meetings - and people will still believe that is NO ASSOCIATION... he's awesome.

the simple fact he attended board meetings and got a paycheck DEFINITELY creates an association.

he said ""i had no association after Feb 1999".

This is a LIE.   Now, obama sucks donkey balls, he is a shitty president, yes there are all facts, but they don't really explain why Romney lied here.  i think he lied to distance himself from the massive outsourcing that took place at bain in those years.  A dumb thing to lie about.

Trying to understand the liars intent is a fruitless endeavor.

Who knows why someone would lie about their life-threatening kidney ailment or penchant for squatting 405lbs for twenty reps in their quest for doubling the 120lb body-weight barrier?  It could be the same reason some self-ashamed liberals announce their libertarian and/or republican voting registration.  It could be the same reason they believe a quick "Obama sucks donkey-balls, squirrel-nuts, insert-animal-male-genital-pseudonym-here, etc., before a mutliple-page exposition on how whichever person that happens to be not-Obama is unquestionably worse in every way imaginable (or unimaginable).

Whatever the reason for self-misrepresentation, whatever the current issue involving not-Obama that the left is giving their all to be sincerely outraged about....the fact that said "issue" isn't another month of dismal job growth under not-Obama's governance, another dose of economic uncertainty, and isn't another "readjusted upwards" rate of unemployment (for tfhose people still trying to look for work) makes not-Obama's issue decidedly lacking in worthiness for disgust.
I used confounding sentence structure and unnecessarily long word choices so that those with liberal leanings can know that I'm 100% dead-on with this.
