Obama lied no less than 7 times as far as I can tell.    Total lies and cliche meant for his delusional base of cult members and drones.
well, don't tell me about it, it's not my fault.  To me it looked like Obama won the debate.  You probably think the same way.  You also know this format favored him which is probably why you were saying you hate it.  None of that is my fault.  I'm just calling it like I see it.  How this plays out on the net and in the media will determine the outcome.  I suspect the media will favor Obama but will nail him on some of the fact checking.  Obama was starting to bounce back after the first debate so I think we'll see a bit more in that direction.

Obama was allowed to speak 10% longer than Romney.

44:04 to 40:50

Not to mention Crowley's constant interrupting of Romney and her outright lie of a fact-check on the Benghazi statement.

Crowley definately interupted romney more than obama.  Noticed that many many times.

Regardless  - obama's lies over the next few days will be the story from this debate.

Yea, the moderator however stepped in and corrected Romney regarding the Libya attack.  Romney may have been lying but she's suppose to be a neutral party and should have let Obama take care of that.

She flat-out lied. Obama did not call it a terrorist attack in his statement.

STFU - obama lied his ass off again and again and again and again

Like a typical 94er - you buy into every lie told by a fellow 94er.

Actually he did but the point I was making was that the moderator should have stayed neutral in this debate

We're done with the second presidential debate, but it was apparent 45 minutes in that between the questions Crowley chose and her handling of who was allowed to speak and when, that this debate was a total and complete set up to rehabilitate Barack Obama. If these are truly undecided voters, they're apparently undecided between Obama and Green Party. Moreover, as I write this, Obama's already enjoyed four more minutes of speaking time than Romney. In a ninety-minute debate, that's a big deal.

The lowest and most dishonest part Crowley's disgraceful "moderation" was when she actually jumped into the debate to take Obama's side when the issue of Benghazi came up. To cover for his and his administration lying for almost two weeks about the attack coming as the result of a spontaneous protest over a YouTube video, Obama attempted to use as cover, he claimed he had called the attack a "terrorist attack" on that very first day during his Rose Garden statement.

Romney correctly disputed that.

Crowley, quite incorrectly, took Obama's side and the crowd exploded.

Here's what Obama said that day:

No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.

Context matters and the context here is that Obama connected this "act of terror" to … a mob action over a YouTube video -- not a deliberate terrorist attack. Obama was using the term generically and it would be almost two weeks before he used it again.

Let's not forget that Susan Rice said declaratively on the five Sunday shows four days later that it was NOT an act of terror.

And during those two weeks the Obama administration lied like a rug. For Crowley to step in and attempt to correct Romney on a statement that is at best arguable, was completely out of line. The debate over this debate has only begun.

Sorry, Candy, Obama Didn’t Call Benghazi A Terrorist Attack In Speech….

Tonight’s debate moderator Candy Crowley tried to fact check Romney and claim Obama did indeed call Benghazi a terror attack the next day. Here’s the text from Obama’s Rose Garden speech the day after the attack:

THE PRESIDENT:  Good morning.  Every day, all across the world, American diplomats and civilians work tirelessly to advance the interests and values of our nation.  Often, they are away from their families.  Sometimes, they brave great danger.

Yesterday, four of these extraordinary Americans were killed in an attack on our diplomatic post in Benghazi.  Among those killed was our Ambassador, Chris Stevens, as well as Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith.  We are still notifying the families of the others who were killed.  And today, the American people stand united in holding the families of the four Americans in our thoughts and in our prayers.

The United States condemns in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack.  We’re working with the government of Libya to secure our diplomats.  I’ve also directed my administration to increase our security at diplomatic posts around the world.  And make no mistake, we will work with the Libyan government to bring to justice the killers who attacked our people. [...]

Of course, yesterday was already a painful day for our nation as we marked the solemn memory of the 9/11 attacks.  We mourned with the families who were lost on that day.  I visited the graves of troops who made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan at the hallowed grounds of Arlington Cemetery, and had the opportunity to say thank you and visit some of our wounded warriors at Walter Reed.  And then last night, we learned the news of this attack in Benghazi.

As Americans, let us never, ever forget that our freedom is only sustained because there are people who are willing to fight for it, to stand up for it, and in some cases, lay down their lives for it.  Our country is only as strong as the character of our people and the service of those both civilian and military who represent us around the globe.

No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.  Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America.  We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act.  And make no mistake, justice will be done.

— President Obama, Rose Garden statement, Sept. 12

Alana Goodman breaks this down better than I can in this September 30th article:

Obama said during the speech that “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation” — but at no point was it clear that he was using that term to describe the attack in Benghazi. He’d also spent the previous two paragraphs discussing the 9/11 attacks and the aftermath. “Acts of terror” could have just as easily been a reference to that. Or maybe it wasn’t a direct reference to anything, just a generic, reassuring line he’d added into a speech which did take place, after all, the day after the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Here’s the line with some additional context

WRONG!  He was in Vegas on September 12 - AFTER learning of the attack the previous evening.

Amid persistent complaints and interruptions from both candidates, President Obama ultimately got more than three extra minutes of speaking time than Mitt Romney during Tuesday's debate.

According to CNN's timekeeping, Obama got 44:04 minutes of speaking time, while Romney got 40:50.

Both candidates pressed the moderator Candy Crowley — sometimes aggressively — into allowing additional responses and back-and-forth exchanges.

Romney seems to do well, even in handicap matches, which this basically was.

Now, you see why the left was so mad at the moderator from the first debate. He just stood by and watch Obama get pounded.

yea and so?  As if Mitt is telling the truth to the middle class?  For what he wants to work he has no choice but to cut their deductions to the point that they end up with a higher burden.  You know it, I know it, but that's not the impression he's giving with what he is saying.

Last week you sat here on this board and told me straight up that you're ok with Romney lying to win, that's just politics right... lol...  Ok, fine, but you can't one week tell me that and the next week cry fucking foul over the same thing not going your way ::)

and yea, that's a good fucking point ;)
