A freind of mine is a family practice doctor.  She told me that during much of medical school she didn't go to class at all.  She had a note taker to go to class for her.  lol.

I did that as well. Class is not necessary unless you are a moron. The practicals are a must obviously and on the job training but written tests require notes only.
