The Eleiko Olympic bar & plates are said to be among the best in the world, from the early 60's to present day. The Swedish steel, and matched balance, gives a extra live/spring quality to the bar, and some of the plates are bumper style. More expensive, been told, but very much around today. Have any shot's of some of the original plates/bars back in the day, I wonder. The bars seem to have a much better grip and rotation to them (balance again).
Also any pic's of the Leoko and older Ivanko plates/bars? Talking to other lifters, and most think that the Ivanko doesn't always hold up in quality like some of the other higher priced bars. Any comment? Leoko seems well liked. China makes a very good Olympic set. Thanks again for all the pictures and information.
