Bloomberg is a complete tool
goes to NH with his Mayors against illegal guns and the read off a list of people who were shot & killed since Sandy Hook and includes the TERRORIST from Boston
He needs to go away faster
He is a complete jackass, sure enough. Some of his efforts are so ironic inasmuch as they smack of fascism. First, he went all apeshit on smokers. (Hitler was an ardent anti-smoking advocate. Anyone ever seen the old billboards that read, Deutschen Weiben rauchen nicht?) Then, it was salt. SALT. Next, the tard wanted to restrict the size of sugary drinks. I imagine his next revelation will be that dishes above a certain kcal content should be outlawed

BUT ...
I DO agree with him about restricting people from "buying" sodas and other shitty sugar-water with food stamps. I look back at my youth and wince at how much Coke, Sprite and the like I drank (and no, we certainly weren't on food stamps). Those are useless calories in all but the most specific contexts, none of which include kids drinking a bunch of that shit every day. My girlfriend's 17-year-old is a fucking blimp, and she just guzzles Pepsi, Coke and sweet tea all day long. She also eats everything in sight, including bag after bag of worthless potato chips, but if she at
least replaced all of those stupid sodas with water, she'd probably lose a bit of weight in short order.
On the other hand, Bloomberg has proven that he doesn't know when to quit; you give him an inch, he'll take a yard. Assuming food stampers can't use that currency to buy soda (or lots thereof), there's no way to tell what he'll target next.
I thought so-called liberals were supposed to be about personal freedoms and a representative democracy

Bloomberg isn't. Did he poll his constituents and ask them if they wanted the sweeping bans he's instituted? My guess is a fat NO. He took it upon himself to do these things in spite of the constituents' input; in effect, his actions mimic that of a father laying the law down (no pun intended) to a bunch of his stupid kids.
Where does that guy get off with that sort of thinking? Some liberal kneejerkers will swear up and down I've engaged in severe strawmandering (well, after they look up the word, of course

), but I'm not distorting shit; the fact is, Bloomberg is acting very much like the typically hypocritical modern Jew. It's fine for Israel to fuck with their enemies as they see fit, largely, and perhaps ONLY, because the U.S. has armed them to the teeth and the Israelites let that power corrupt them to the point of extreme arrogance and self-importance. They know think "might makes right" when it comes to dealing with Gaza strip terrorists. But again, the irony is mind-blowing. The Nazis, Egyptians and countless others who have "persecuted" the Jews over the past few thousand years did so because they COULD -- because they had the military power to bully untold numbers, mostly innocents, onto cattle cars that took a great many of them on a one-way trip to Zyklon-B.
I don't wish Bloomberg ill health or anything; that'd be a severe overreaction on my part. But I have to say that the people who continue to elect him must be some kind of confused, mislead, stupid or a combo thereof. Mayor Giuiliani wasn't perfect either, but my New Yorker friends speak of him with reverence. My buddy Andy Pacer actually saw Rudy about a mile from GZ on 9/11/01, right there in the thick of things, passing out breathing masks and doing everything he could to assist the fire and police departments.
Why can't NYC elect someone more like Rudy? And for that matter, why do we talk so much about NYC? Those assholes oftentimes think of themselves as occupying the center of the universe. They and other northern U.S. folk think similarly, all the while snickering at and endlessly bashing the South and/or "small town America." (I'd like to see all of those Yankee jackasses make their mint julip and grits jokes when their grocery stores ran out of vegetables, fruit and most things grain-based. If they don't largely come from the South, said commodities come from small farming-oriented communities that are about as far removed from New York as Ronnie Coleman is from a Nobel Prize in Physics.
