Probably a MRSA infection, doctors wouldn't know just by looking samples would need to be taken they would have to identify the infection and treat with levaquin, spelling maybe wrong but it's the daddy of antibiotics, he probably told the docs all he injected and they didn't figure it was infection but an inflamitory response to drugs so they would put him on a pred PAC which would further hinder his ability to heal so by now he could be fucked

1-  The arm currently looks like he has been on antibiotics. There is much less edema. The lumps may suggest areas of abscess formation, which should resolve with antibiotic treatment. The areas of scab formation may be related to purulent discharge from abscess or injection sites to drain abscess, or at least one may be the site of the original injection.
2-  No evidence for DVT which is good.
3-  Depending on the severity of the edema, he might have developed a compartment syndrome. The radial nerve crosses the humerus, and if the edema progressed to the elbow, he might even have had ulnar nerve involvement.
4- He probably told the doctors that he had given himself a B12 injection.  Lol

In any case, looks like a full recovery is expected provided he takes his antibiotics.
