Both brands have been around for at least 10 years that I know of and probably longer. I have never heard of any problems with quality control for either product. Clearly, if they wish to remain in business it's in their interest to spend a few extra dollars and maintain QC.  

I would personally reccomend both products to anyone who inquired. That means fuck of course but still. . .
