Good to hear, but I doubt it has as much to do with escaping reality as it does not wanting to become like your family members. And I wasnt referring to getting fall down drunk, but merely a drink or two. And I stand by my original statement. Alcoholic (you qualify by proxy) or weirdo.

I am adopted. For me, not to drink alcohol is simply another choice on how I live my life. I don't want it in my body. I don't restrict if from others in my life, just myself. As for "weirdo", I suppose in one way or another we all are a bit of a weirdo in the eyes of others.
