The post had been retweeted over 3000 times and was picked up by news sites around the world by the time Sacco landed in Africa.

Agree 100%. But do you really think she didn't know what she was doing? It's not like she made an elusive comment on an elusive site. She was very pedestrian with her message, and in a global way. She had to have known what she was doing. No one is that stupid, are they?
