I guess if The Rock was on I'd log out from getbigdrop my evening plans instantly.

Also Terminator 2. If I saw the opening scene I'd have to watch the motorcycles bulkers take a beating first, and then I'd just have to see John getting chased on his dirtbike... and then I'd have to stick around for Sarahs epic breakout from the psyche ward.... before I know it, I'm in tears at the end when the final bodybuilder thumbs up is given from beneath the liquid steel.

I'm impressed, Halo!  Those are all good choices.  I don't see many people who have even heard of Barry Lyndon.

I do think Full Metal Jacket is a bit overrated, though.  It's really two movies:  the Good Bootcamp Movie, and the rather lame Vietnam "obviously filmed on Pinewood Studios" Movie.  

But Kubrick is still the man.  And Sorcese  Goodfellas IS good any day of the week, even if I have it memorized pretty much line for line.

A few other rare, forgotten or just notable goodies:

*Frailty
*No Country For Old Men JUST for how creepy nuts Anton is
*The Wild Bunch
*Extreme Prejudice
*Southern Comfort

Oh, and Body Heat is largely forgotten these days.  Kat Turner was HOT in that.  Mein Gott, she was fucking hot.
