Yeah having a true center is kind of dead or dying. Most teams have an oversized PF playing center or a 7' freak with no athletic ability or basketball iq.

I guess so.  You would think the coach and GM should know if a player is a stiff.  I had no idea Hibbert was so bad.  Sort of like Howard.  I didn't realize how limited his offensive game was till I watched him in the playoff when he was with the Magic. 

But I do feel sorry for Bird.  Must be killing him to watch how these dudes play these days.
